Sourced from the temperate hardwood forests of the Central United States, our timber is kiln-dried to a precise 6-8% moisture content , ensuring stability and resistance to seasonal warping. The Design: A Silhouette of Warmth 

Drawing inspiration from the Greek personification of the sun, the Helios features a signature curved backrest that wraps gently around the sitter. This "enveloping" silhouette borrows from the best of Mid-Century Modern and Japandi philosophies: clean lines, organic forms, and an absence of sharp angles. The fluid transition from backrest to armrest showcases the masterful finger-joint detailing, a hallmark of honest craftsmanship that requires no ornamentation to be beautiful.

The Helios is constructed using time-honored mortise and tenon joinery—the strongest method for connecting wood. Unlike mass-produced furniture held together by screws that loosen over time, our joints are integrated into the wood itself. The surface is treated with a zero-VOC, plant-based oil finish. Unlike lacquer, which coats the wood in plastic, oil penetrates deep into the fibers, hardening them from within while leaving the surface silky to the touch. This living finish allows the walnut to develop a richer, deeper patina over years of use and love.
