Frequently Asked Questions
Is the glass safe?
It is tempered safety glass with polished edges, resting on the walnut beams with the stone's mass anchoring everything below. Tempered glass granulates rather than shards in the rare event of breakage.
Do I need coasters?
Not on glass — rings, heat marks, and spills wipe away completely. It is the zero-anxiety surface for a table that lives at drink height.
Will my stone look like the photos?
Close but not identical: it is natural stone with fossil texture and tonal variation, so every plinth is its own edition. We consider that a feature and say so up front.
Is it stable?
Very — most of the table's weight is the stone plinth itself, sitting low and centered. The glass and walnut above are light by comparison, so the center of gravity stays near the floor.
What height furniture does it pair with?
At 20" it lands at the upper range of sofa arms and works beside beds with mattress tops around 20–25" — measure your arm or mattress height and aim for level or slightly below.
