Frequently Asked Questions
Do they really nest?
Fully — the small table is 14" tall and the large table has 13" of clearance beneath, so the small one slides under with its top just below the big table's underside. One footprint most days, two surfaces when needed.
Is the shape practical or just pretty?
Both, honestly. The cloud outline lets the table sit closer to an L-sofa's chaise than a rectangle can, and the absence of corners matters at toddler height. You give up a little edge-to-edge tray space versus a rectangle — that is the trade.
Will drinks mark the finish?
The hard-wax oil handles everyday glasses; hot mugs deserve a coaster. If a mark ever sets, that spot sands and re-oils in ten minutes — no refinishing the whole top, which is the advantage oil has over lacquer.
Is it veneer anywhere?
No — tops and fluted legs are solid American black walnut, FAS grade. The flutes are carved into solid stock; you can read the grain running through each rib.
Can I buy the tables separately?
Yes — large alone, small alone, or the set. The set is priced below the two singles combined.
