The Maren is an all-solid-walnut dining chair built around a single flowing gesture — a wide, curved backrest that arcs down through tapered rear legs in one continuous line. The seat is shaped from a single panel of American black walnut, gently scooped to follow the body's natural contour. Every surface is hand-finished with zero-VOC hard wax oil, leaving the grain open and warm to the touch.

Structure and Comfort

Without upholstery or padding, the Maren relies entirely on its sculpted geometry for comfort. The backrest curves inward at the shoulders, offering light lumbar support, while the contoured seat distributes weight evenly across its surface. Four softly rounded legs sit flush beneath the frame, keeping the profile compact enough to tuck neatly under most dining tables.
