Why It Takes This Long
Each Walnutry piece is made to order rather than pulled from mass inventory. This allows us to build your furniture with greater care, better material matching, and a higher level of finish.
After your order is placed, we select solid wood with attention to grain, tone, and structural stability. Your piece then moves through woodworking, assembly, sanding, finishing, curing, and final inspection.
The finishing stage takes time because each surface needs proper application, drying, and curing before it can be safely packed. This helps create a durable finish and a smoother, more refined feel.
Before shipping, we inspect the piece, protect it carefully, and prepare it for furniture freight. Production usually takes 6-10 weeks, depending on the item and current workshop schedule. Ocean freight then takes about 4 to 5 weeks, and truck delivery takes about 1 to 2 weeks on the West Coast and 2 to 4 weeks elsewhere, because your piece crosses the country.
Most orders arrive about 10 to 16 weeks after you order on the West Coast (California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada and Arizona), and about 12 to 18 weeks elsewhere in the contiguous U.S. Your order confirmation email gives your estimated delivery dates, and we update them at every step.
