Frequently Asked Questions
Will glasses leave water rings?
This piece wears a water-resistant satin lacquer rather than an oil, precisely because coffee tables live under cups. Wipe spills when you see them and use coasters for hot mugs, and the finish shrugs off everyday glasses.
Is it really solid wood?
The top, case, and drawer boxes are solid American black walnut with no veneer, MDF, or particle board. The dovetailed drawer corners are visible proof — that joint is cut in solid stock.
Are the legs wood?
No — they are slim powder-coated steel, and we say so plainly. The steel keeps the base visually light under a substantial walnut case; if you want an all-wood table, look at our Sora or Sylvan Round.
What height sofa does it suit?
At 15.7" tall it pairs with sofas whose seats sit 16–18" high — level with or just below the cushion, which is the comfortable reach for drinks. Leave about 16" of walking space between sofa and table.
How much assembly?
Legs attach on site with included hardware — about ten minutes. Made to order, ships in 6–10 weeks, 90-day returns.
