The Bennett is a sliding extendable dining table: a second, lower table nests under the main one. It pulls out at one end on its own four legs.

A table under the table

The main table is 55.1 × 33.5 in (140 × 85 cm) and 28.3 in (72 cm) tall. The second table is 37.4 × 28.7 in (95 × 73 cm) and 27.2 in (69 cm) tall.

With the second table pulled out, the set runs 92.5 in (235 cm).

Casters, and the metal parts

The second table's legs run on casters with brakes. Set the brakes once it's where you want it.

Metal bars are set into the underside of the top. They lower the risk of warping and cracking.

Square legs, a thin top

The legs are straight and square. The main top is 0.8 in (2 cm) thick.

It sits against a wall easily, and there's room for knees underneath, so chairs push in.

Every wooden part is solid wood, and the walnut is solid American black walnut. It's Appalachian FAS-grade walnut, finished in hardwax oil.

Looking after it

Dust with a soft dry cloth. The oil resists water but isn't waterproof, so wipe spills promptly.

Use a coaster or trivet under hot or wet things, and refresh the finish with a hardwax-oil maintenance product.

One size, no seat count

The Bennett comes in one size. We don't give a seat count for it. Lay your chairs out at 55.1 and 92.5 in (140 and 235 cm) before you order.

The second table is lower than the main top, so the two surfaces don't sit flush.

We make each Bennett to order. Production takes 6 to 10 weeks, and it reaches you about 10 to 18 weeks after you order. It needs some assembly on arrival.

Standard shipping is free across the contiguous United States, excluding remote areas. You have 90 days after receiving your order to request a return. Custom dimensions, custom finishes and special-order modifications are not eligible for return.
