One cone, no legs

Rowan's base is a single tapered cone of solid walnut, 23.6" across at the floor. That's mass where it matters: the table stands planted, and every chair slides in freely because there isn't a leg to negotiate anywhere on the circle.

Sizes & seating

Two sizes: 53" seats 4 comfortably, 6 in a pinch; 59" seats 6. Standard 29.5" height, with about 36" of walking room around it if your floor plan allows. At approx. 140 lb, it stays where you put it.

Solid walnut, no veneer

Top and cone are FAS-grade, FSC-certified American black walnut — solid boards, visible figure, a thick top with a softly rounded edge. Run a hand under the rim: same wood below as above, because there's no substrate to hide.

Finish & everyday life

The zero-VOC hard wax oil finish keeps the surface feeling like wood. Scratches get a light sand and a wipe of fresh oil — local repair, not a refinish — and the color deepens into a warm patina with use.

Ordering & delivery

Made to order, shipping in 6–10 weeks; assembly is attaching the top to the cone. If it doesn't work in the room, returns are open for 90 days.
