Each module is a solid American black walnut box you can buy on its own and combine over time — pick Single Drawer, Double Drawers, a Glass Sliding Door, or an Open Shelf, then stack and line them up as a nightstand, a credenza, a media wall or a bookcase. Traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery means every unit is a real piece of furniture, not a flat-pack cube, rated to carry serious weight per module.

Fluted glass and brass, honestly detailed

The sliding doors are 5 mm tempered fluted glass running on solid brass tracks and pins — the reeded glass softens what is behind it while the brass keeps the slide smooth for years. One point we state plainly: the back panel is double-faced walnut veneer, chosen on purpose so both sides look finished. That is what lets a run of modules stand mid-room as a divider instead of being shoved against a wall.

Move-friendly by design

Because the system breaks back down into single modules, it travels: reconfigure it for the next apartment instead of replacing it. The solid-wood structure and low, boxy stance keep stacked runs stable.

Is the cabinet solid wood or veneer?

The structure — frame, sides and shelves — is solid American black walnut with mortise-and-tenon joinery. The one veneered part is the back panel, which is double-faced walnut veneer on purpose so both faces look finished when the unit is used as a room divider. We call that out rather than imply the whole box is solid.

Can I stack the modules and change the layout later?

Yes. Each module is a standalone unit, so you can add boxes over time and reconfigure them into a nightstand, credenza, media console, bookcase or freestanding divider whenever you move or redecorate.

Why is the back finished on both sides?

So the cabinet can float in the middle of a room as a divider. The double-faced walnut-veneer back means the side facing away from the wall looks just as intentional as the front.

How much weight does one module hold?
