Kael's backrest is a single curved crest — the banana profile mid-century Japan and Denmark both loved — carved wide enough to catch your back at any angle you slouch. Below it, a black upholstered seat pads the 15"-wide sitting area.

Footprint is 17.9" × 20.7", 30.9" tall — trim enough to seat three along a 71" table. An arched apron and A-frame stance brace the frame where chairs actually fail: the pull-out, the lean-back, the drag across tile.
