The Komorebi is a sofa with a built-in side table: one arm is a walnut table with an open shelf beneath. It's 110.2 in (280 cm) wide, a three-seat sofa with top-grain leather where you sit.

A table where the arm would be

The tabletop is 31.5 by 11.4 in (80 by 29 cm). Below it, an open shelf 11.8 in (30 cm) high takes a book, a coffee or a laptop.

That shelf is the only storage, and it's open; there's no enclosed compartment. The other arm is upholstered.

Use a coaster under hot or wet things on the tabletop.

How high, how deep

The Komorebi is a low profile leather sofa, 23.6 in (60 cm) to the top of the frame and arms. The loose back cushions sit above that line.

The seat is 16.5 in (42 cm) high. It's 30.7 in (78 cm) deep, measured without the back cushions. Overall depth is 39.4 in (100 cm).

Leather, springs and loose cushions

The surfaces you sit on are top-grain leather, in cream. Under the seat are sinuous springs with elastic webbing and steel rings.

The seat and arm cushions are 45D high-resilience foam with fiber wadding. The back cushions are loose, filled with feather and fiber, and you can move them around. The covers come off.

Walnut base, one size

Walnut shows only at the base and the side-table arm; the rest is upholstered. Inside the upholstery, the frame is solid wood.

It needs some assembly when it arrives.

Care and ordering for the Komorebi

Every wooden part is solid wood, and the walnut is solid American black walnut, kiln-dried to 8 to 10% moisture. It's Appalachian FAS-grade walnut under hardwax oil.

Dust the wood with a soft dry cloth. The oil resists water but isn't waterproof, so wipe spills promptly. Knots, sapwood edges and mineral streaks are natural walnut, not defects.

There may be a slight smell when you unpack it. Keep the room ventilated.

We make each Komorebi to order. Production takes 6 to 10 weeks, and it reaches you about 10 to 18 weeks after you order.

Standard shipping is free across the contiguous United States, excluding remote areas. You have 90 days after receiving your order to request a return. Custom dimensions, custom finishes and special-order modifications are not eligible for return.
