The upper case is a glass-fronted showcase with three adjustable solid-walnut shelves — set them for tall vases, glassware or small collectibles. Below sit two solid-wood drawers for the things you would rather keep out of sight. One narrow footprint does both jobs, which is why it works in a spot too tight for a full cabinet.

The door front and side panels are tempered glass set into the walnut frame — we say glass rather than imply an all-wood box, because seeing the display is the point.
