The tray is the feature

The top carries a raised edge about 0.6" high on every side — a built-in tray that keeps mugs, glasses, phones, and rings from skating off. On a piece this close to elbows and blankets, that lip earns its keep nightly.

At 15" square and 18.9" tall, Kurumi works as an end table at the sofa arm and as a low nightstand beside platform beds. The open shelf below — about 10" of clearance — holds the book stack, the tablet, tomorrow's glasses.

Is it tall enough for a bed?

At 18.9" it suits platform and low-profile beds where the mattress top sits around 18–24". For taller box-spring beds, our Heritage or Helios nightstands are the better height.

What is the tray edge for?

It is a 0.6" lip around the whole top. Water glasses, jewelry, pens — nothing slides off the edge in the dark, and small spills stay on the table instead of the rug.

Is it really solid wood?

Does it match the sofa arm?
