Oslo is a walnut frame sofa with bolster arms: a long cushion lies along each round walnut rail. It comes as a chair or a three-seater.
Rails bent from one piece
Each round arm rail is one piece of solid wood, bent with heat. We lay a full-length bolster along it. Stretch out, and the bolster works as a pillow.
The upholstery wraps the seat on three sides. From behind you see an open frame of crossing rails, so the back looks finished too.
Where the Oslo stops
The seat is 22.4 in (57 cm) deep and 16.9 in (43 cm) high. For a deeper seat, the Sylvan Reserve's is 31.5 in (80 cm).
Chair and sofa
The chair is 43.3 in (110 cm) wide and the three-seater 86.6 in (220 cm). Both are 32.7 in (83 cm) deep, and at 28.7 in (73 cm) tall the Oslo is a low sofa.
They share one design, so you can buy them together or one at a time.
Covers, strips and springs
Hook-and-loop strips hold the cushions to the frame so they stay put. The covers zip off.
The back cushions are feather and fiber wadding. The seat cushions and bolsters are high-resilience foam with fiber wadding, on S-shaped springs.
Caring for the rails
Every wooden part is solid wood, and the frame is solid American black walnut. It's Appalachian FAS-grade walnut under hardwax oil.
Dust the rails with a soft dry cloth. The oil resists water but isn't waterproof, so wipe spills promptly. Knots, sapwood edges and mineral streaks are natural walnut, not defects.
There may be a slight smell when you unpack it. Keep the room ventilated.
Ordering the Oslo
We make every Oslo to order. Production takes 6 to 10 weeks, and it reaches you about 10 to 18 weeks after you order. It needs some assembly when it arrives.
Standard shipping is free across the contiguous United States, excluding remote areas. You have 90 days after receiving your order to request a return. Custom dimensions, custom finishes and special-order modifications are not eligible for return.
