The tops are 10 mm tempered glass in a translucent amber tint, set into a solid walnut rim that stands a finger's width proud — a tray lip that catches rolling pens and stray dice. Is the glass safe?

It is 10 mm tempered safety glass — the heavy-duty grade — with polished edges, set into a walnut rim rather than perched on pads. Tempering means that in the extremely rare event of breakage it granulates instead of shattering into shards.

Do I need coasters?

On the glass, no — water rings, heat marks, and spills wipe off completely. It is the practical answer for people who love wood tables but hate policing drinks. The walnut rim still appreciates a quick wipe when something lands on it.

How does the nesting work?

The 28" table is 3" shorter than the 36" table and slides partially beneath its edge, so the pair parks in one footprint. Pull the small one out for guests, armchairs, or puzzle nights.
