Why is the crest wider than the chair?
The flare puts wood where shoulders actually swing — when you turn to talk, the lifted ends meet you instead of a corner. Below shoulder level, the chair stays slim so it seats three across a normal table.
Is an all-wood seat comfortable through a long dinner?
