Fluted drawer fronts are usually MDF with a routed vinyl wrap that chips at every groove. These are cut from solid walnut, three smooth faces over three reeded ones, on splayed legs that leave room to sweep underneath.

Fluting cut into real wood

Most fluted furniture is MDF with a vinyl wrap routed to look reeded — and the wrap lifts and chips inside every groove within a couple of years. Here the reeding is machined into solid American black walnut, so the flutes are the wood itself. The layout mixes three smooth drawer faces over three fluted ones, giving the front a rhythm without a single applied panel.

Choose the 6-Drawer Wide (47") or the 8-Drawer Grand (63") to work as a bedroom dresser or a living-room media credenza. Solid brass knobs anchor each drawer, and the drawer boxes are solid wood built to take a full load of folded clothes or AV gear.
