Two walnut nesting coffee tables make up the Pebble set: a low oval and a taller small table. The large one is 49.6 × 27.6 in and 13.8 in high (126 × 70 × 35 cm). The small one is 26.0 × 15.7 in and 17.7 in high (66 × 40 × 45 cm).

How the two tables fit together

The small table stands taller than the large one. Set them together and its top stands over the end of the large table's top.

Pull them apart and the large one is your coffee table, the small one a side table.

What it doesn't do

There are no drawers or shelves, so it's all surface. You can buy the set of two or the large table alone. The small table isn't sold on its own.

V-shaped legs, set in from the ends

Each table stands on angled, V-shaped leg frames in solid wood, set in from the ends. The large table has two frames and the small one has one. Each frame is 1.8 in (4.5 cm) thick.

We join the frames with mortise-and-tenon joinery. The tops are rounded, and the edge underneath is chamfered.

Low enough to sit at on the floor

At 13.8 in (35 cm), the large table suits sitting cross-legged on the floor. Its wide top works for study or work as well as coffee. The shape has an organic modern look.

Wide boards, oil and care

We make each top from wide walnut boards, edge-joined, so there are fewer boards across it. Every wooden part is solid wood, and the walnut is solid American black walnut.

It's Appalachian FAS-grade walnut, finished in hardwax oil.

Dust the wood with a soft dry cloth, and wipe spills promptly: the oil resists water but isn't waterproof. Don't cover the top with film or a sheet of glass, so the wood can breathe.

Refresh it with a hardwax-oil maintenance product when the wood looks dry. There may be a slight smell when you unpack it. Keep the room ventilated.

Knots, sapwood edges and mineral streaks are natural walnut, not defects.

Standard shipping is free across the contiguous United States, excluding remote areas. You have 90 days after receiving your order to request a return. Custom dimensions, custom finishes and special-order modifications are not eligible for return.
