The spiral pedestal

Helios' base is built up from dozens of solid walnut rings, each rotated a step from the last, so the column twists like caught motion. It's stack-built the slow way — wood on wood — and it means no two tables catch light identically. Underneath, a broad steel disc plants the whole sculpture flat to the floor.

The marble lazy Susan

A white marble turntable sits at the center of the walnut top: stone for hot serving dishes, a spin to send them around. Lift it off and the full top returns for one big spread.

Sizes & seating

Two sizes — 53.1" and 59.1" across, both 29.5" tall. The 53" seats 4 comfortably, 6 in a pinch; the 59" seats 6. No legs anywhere on the rim: chairs go where people go.

Solid walnut, honestly finished

FAS-grade, FSC-certified American black walnut under zero-VOC hard wax oil. Scratches in the wood sand out locally; the marble wipes clean; the walnut deepens into a warm patina.
