The Heritage is a low-profile walnut TV stand, 10.2 in (26 cm) tall and 15.7 in (40 cm) deep. It runs up to 94.5 in (240 cm) long. The whole front is four drawers, with no doors.
One run of grain across four drawers
Each drawer front is a single board from top to bottom. The grain runs on from one front to the next, so the four read as one long piece of walnut.
The pull is a groove cut into the bottom edge of each front. Nothing metal sits on the face. The front edges are beveled at 45°, and the inside corners of each drawer opening are rounded.
Four lengths, the same height
Choose 70.9, 78.7, 86.6 or 94.5 in (180, 200, 220 or 240 cm). Every length has four drawers and stands 10.2 in (26 cm) tall. If you're after a long walnut TV stand, the two longest sizes are 86.6 and 94.5 in (220 and 240 cm).
On the 220 cm size, each drawer is 18.9 × 10.6 × 3.7 in inside (48 × 27 × 9.5 cm). That's room for remotes, game controllers and cables. We only have inside measurements for that size.
On a plinth, not legs
There are no legs. A recessed plinth carries the case down to the floor, so there's nothing underneath to clean. Our factory builds it this way because a plinth doesn't wobble the way four legs can.
What it won't do
This is a walnut TV stand with drawers and nothing else. There's no open shelf for a receiver or games console, and no door. If you need those, the Pebble has a door at each end, and the Arden has open slots.
We don't give a weight rating or a TV size for it. If your TV stands on its own feet, check that they fit on the 15.7 in (40 cm) deep top.
Solid walnut, dovetailed
Every wooden part is solid American black walnut: front, top, sides, back panel and drawers, with no other material. It's Appalachian FAS-grade walnut, built with mortise-and-tenon joinery. The drawer boxes and the case corners are dovetailed too.
We glue up each panel from wide boards, matched by color and grain, so it takes fewer of them. Our walnut is kiln-dried to 8 to 10% moisture.
Oil, water and grain
The finish is hardwax oil, with no paint. Fresh oil has a slight smell when you unpack it; just keep the room aired.
Hardwax oil resists water but isn't waterproof, so wipe spills promptly and use a coaster. Color shifts, knots, pale sapwood and bird-peck marks are part of black walnut, not flaws.
Ordering
We make each Heritage to order. Production takes 6 to 10 weeks, and it reaches you fully assembled about 10 to 18 weeks after you order.
