The back has two scalloped rails, one at the top and one at the bottom, with four turned spindles between them.
Under the seat, arched stretchers run between the legs. The rear legs curve back.
The seat, and what we don't publish
The seat is woven rattan in a herringbone pattern, framed by a wooden seat ring. We don't publish a seat width or depth for the Lovan, so ask us if either one matters.
The seat is 18.1 in (46 cm) high, a little higher than the Haven at 17.7 in (45 cm). Check it against your table before you order.
Size and wood
The chair is 17.7 in wide, 19.7 in deep and 35.4 in tall (45 × 50 × 90 cm). It has no arms. We measure by hand, so allow 0.4 to 1.2 in (1 to 3 cm) either way.
Every wooden part is solid wood, and the walnut is solid American black walnut. It's Appalachian FAS-grade walnut, finished in hardwax oil. Wipe spills on the frame promptly: the oil resists water but isn't waterproof.
Ordering the Lovan
Order one chair, or a set of 2, 4, 6 or 8. We make each Lovan to order. Production takes 6 to 10 weeks, and it reaches you about 10 to 18 weeks after you order.
Standard shipping is free across the contiguous United States, excluding remote areas. You have 90 days after receiving your order to request a return. Custom dimensions, custom finishes and special-order modifications are not eligible for return.
