The Marais round dining table stands on four solid walnut legs splayed at 96°. It comes in five sizes.

Built for wood that moves

Under the top, expansion grooves let the wood move with the seasons. Anti-warp fittings sit at the corners, and from 47.2 in (120 cm) up a crossbar is added.

Together they lower the risk of cracking. The corner fittings aren't wood, and we don't list what they're made of.

Four legs at 96°

Each solid walnut leg splays outward at 96°. A curved apron of four rails joins them under the top.

We glue the top up from wide boards and hand-sand every surface you touch. It's built with mortise-and-tenon joinery.

Walnut and oil

Every wooden part is solid wood, and the walnut is solid American black walnut. It's Appalachian FAS-grade walnut under a hardwax oil finish.

The oil resists water but isn't waterproof, so wipe spills promptly. Use a coaster or trivet under hot or wet things.

Five sizes, one seat count

It comes 39.4, 43.3, 47.2, 51.2 or 55.1 in across (100, 110, 120, 130 or 140 cm). Every size is 29.5 in (75 cm) tall.

The 51.2 in (130 cm) table seats 8. We don't give a count for the other four sizes, or list the top's thickness.

We make each Marais to order. Production takes 6 to 10 weeks, and it reaches you about 10 to 18 weeks after you order. It needs some assembly, and we include instructions.

Standard shipping is free across the contiguous United States, excluding remote areas. You have 90 days after receiving your order to request a return. Custom dimensions, custom finishes and special-order modifications are not eligible for return.
