The Sylvan Reserve is a walnut leather sofa: top-grain leather in cream, on an exposed solid walnut frame. Its seats are 31.5 in (80 cm) deep.
A frame around each arm
Each arm sits inside an open rectangle of solid walnut, with a padded leather arm cushion set in the middle. The rectangles run down to the floor like sled runners.
Underneath, the frame clears the floor by 6.3 in (16 cm), enough for a robot vacuum. There's a panel behind the back cushions, and the outer side panels are perforated leather.
Deep seats, by the numbers
The seats are 31.5 in (80 cm) deep and 15.7 in (40 cm) high. The arms stand 26.4 in (67 cm) off the floor.
Every width is 42.5 in (108 cm) deep and 34.6 in (88 cm) tall. That's a lot of depth, so measure the room first.
Goose down in the back
The back cushions are white goose down with fiber wadding. The seat cushions are 45D high-density foam with a layer of fiber wadding.
Four widths
The Sylvan Reserve comes 43.3, 86.6, 110.2 or 122.0 in wide (110, 220, 280 or 310 cm). The 43.3 in (110 cm) size is an armchair.

Before you order the Sylvan Reserve
The covers don't come off. If you need covers that come off, the Daren's and the Lior's zip off.
We don't publish a cleaning routine for the leather. The care below is for the walnut.
Caring for the walnut
Every wooden part is solid wood, and the frame is solid American black walnut. It's Appalachian FAS-grade walnut under hardwax oil.
Dust it with a soft dry cloth. The oil resists water but isn't waterproof, so wipe spills promptly. Knots, sapwood edges and mineral streaks are natural walnut, not defects.
There may be a slight smell when you unpack it. Keep the room ventilated.
Ordering the Sylvan Reserve
We make each Sylvan Reserve to order. Production takes 6 to 10 weeks, and it reaches you about 10 to 18 weeks after you order. It arrives fully assembled.
Standard shipping is free across the contiguous United States, excluding remote areas. You have 90 days after receiving your order to request a return. Custom dimensions, custom finishes and special-order modifications are not eligible for return.
