The Soren Extendable is a draw leaf dining table: two leaves are stored under the main top, one at each end. It comes in three sizes.

Pull an end, and a leaf comes out

Each leaf sits under the top at its own end. Pull that end of the table, and the leaf draws out. You can open one end or both.

There are no loose leaves to keep in a closet. Close the table, and both leaves are stored under the top again.

On the largest size, each leaf adds 15.7 in (40 cm). We don't list the leaf length for the two smaller sizes.

Three sizes, closed and open

The smallest goes from 39.4 to 63.0 in (100 to 160 cm). The middle size goes from 47.2 to 78.7 in (120 to 200 cm), and the largest from 55.1 to 86.6 in (140 to 220 cm).

Every size is 31.5 in (80 cm) deep and 28.9 in (73.5 cm) tall.

Legs, apron and top

Four round tapered legs carry an apron under the top. The ends of the top are gently curved.

We glue the top up from wide boards, and the table is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery.

Every wooden part is solid wood, and the walnut is solid American black walnut. It's Appalachian FAS-grade walnut, finished in hardwax oil.

It works for meals, tea, study or work.

Light, heat and a damp cloth

Keep it out of long, strong sunlight and away from heaters and AC vents. Keep the room's humidity steady.

Use a heat pad under hot dishes, and keep alcohol, nail polish and corrosive liquids off the top. Don't cover it with film or a sheet of glass.

Wipe dust off with a well-wrung damp cotton cloth, then dry it with a soft dry cloth. The oil resists water but isn't waterproof, so wipe spills promptly.

Knots, sapwood edges and mineral streaks are natural walnut traits, not defects.

What we don't list

It seats up to 8. We don't give a count for each size, or for the table closed and open.

We don't list the top's thickness. On the largest size, the apron's underside is 24.8 in (62.9 cm) off the floor, so check chair arms against that.

We make each one to order. Production takes 6 to 10 weeks, and it reaches you about 10 to 18 weeks after you order. It needs some assembly when it arrives.

Standard shipping is free across the contiguous United States, excluding remote areas. You have 90 days after receiving your order to request a return. Custom dimensions, custom finishes and special-order modifications are not eligible for return.
