A lazy Susan, sized for a small room

Turntable tables are usually banquet-scale. Suiseki runs 47" to 55" across — dinner for four with the serving dishes in the middle, spinning to whoever asked. The walnut tray (27.5" on the smaller sizes, 31.5" on the largest) lifts off whenever you want the full flat top back.

A base like branching trees

Look under the top: Y-shaped uprights rise from a circular stretcher ring, every crossing joined wood-to-wood with mortise-and-tenon work. It carries the top the way branches carry a canopy — and it leaves footroom on every side, because there are no corner legs.

Three sizes — 47.25", 51", 55" — all designed around four everyday place settings. The 55" seats six at a squeeze. Table height is the standard 29.5".

It's designed around four. The 55" size seats six at a squeeze — the open base helps, since no one has to straddle a leg — but for six every night, look one size class up.

Is the base sturdy with those open branches?

Yes. The Y-shaped uprights are solid walnut joined with mortise-and-tenon work into a circular stretcher ring, so the load travels wood-to-wood — the same engineering as a centuries-old trestle, drawn rounder.
