Most sculpted-front sideboards are a molded resin skin on MDF; press a fingernail in and it dents. Every wave here is CNC-cut into solid walnut, four soft-close doors and a bank of center drawers, floating on a matte-black steel base.

Carved into solid wood, not molded onto board

The vertical wave pattern flowing across the front is CNC-sculpted into solid American black walnut, with the grain running continuously through the carving. It is not a molded resin or vinyl skin over MDF, which dents under a fingernail and peels at the ridges. The result reads as one sculpted plank across four doors and the center drawer stack.

An honest word on the base

The cabinet is solid walnut; the slim support base it floats on is matte-black powder-coated steel — we name it plainly. That steel base is what gives the heavy solid-wood body its light, hovering stance without a bulky wooden plinth.

Storage that works

Behind four soft-close doors sit three internal compartments with adjustable shelves, plus three drawers in the center for the smaller things a sideboard swallows. The top carries 300 lb, so it holds a large TV or a full spread of serveware, and each shelf takes 65 lb.

Finish and ordering

Natural hard-wax oil, matte-to-satin, repairable in place; re-oil every 12–18 months. Leg attachment is the only setup. Made to order in about 6–10 weeks with 90-day returns.
