Standard headboards are vertical, forcing you to stack pillows or slouch uncomfortably to read or watch TV. We challenged this convention.

• The Science of Comfort: Referencing ergonomic studies on spinal alignment , we engineered the headboard with a precise 95-degree backward tilt. This subtle angle works with gravity to distribute your upper body weight evenly, reducing lumbar pressure and providing the perfect support for your evening unwind.   

• Visual Softness: The slant softens the architectural lines of your bedroom, creating a sense of flow and openness that rigid, boxy frames cannot match.

Material Purity: FAS-Grade Black Walnut

We do not compromise on wood. While others use "walnut finish" on inferior rubberwood or chop up scraps into finger-jointed boards, Walnutry uses full-length staves of FAS-grade lumber.

• Living Finish: The wood is treated with a premium, zero-VOC hard wax oil. This satin finish penetrates deep into the fibers, protecting the wood from within while preserving its natural tactile warmth. It allows the walnut to "breathe" and regulate humidity, contributing to a healthier sleep environment.

• Unique Character: Every frame is unique. You will see the life story of the tree in the grain—swirls, waves, and the deep, complex hues that only authentic Juglans Nigra can offer.   

The Floating Silhouette

• Weightless Design: The legs are strategically recessed from the frame's edge (referencing Image 2 & 4), creating an illusion that the bed is hovering above the floor. This "floating" effect expands the visual space of smaller rooms and adds a touch of modern Zen aesthetic.

• Toe-Friendly: The recessed leg placement also serves a practical purpose—eliminating those painful late-night toe stubs common with traditional corner-leg frames.

Unyielding Construction

• Silent Sleep: We utilize a metal-on-metal bolt system combined with traditional mortise-and-tenon logic to ensure the frame remains rock-solid and silent for decades. No squeaks. No wobbles.

• Platform Support: A robust system of solid spruce slats provides optimal breathability for your mattress (Memory Foam, Latex, or Hybrid compatible), eliminating the need for a bulky box spring.
