The Pebble walnut media console has four drawers in the middle and a hinged door at each end. It comes in three lengths and two depths.

Pick a length, then a depth

The lengths are 70.9, 82.7 and 90.6 in (180, 210 and 230 cm). Both depths come in all three lengths. We measure by hand, so allow a little either way.

Slim is 15.7 in (40 cm) deep and 17.7 in (45 cm) tall. Cinema Depth is 18.0 in (45.7 cm) deep. For any other Cinema Depth measurement, ask us before you order.

Four drawers, two doors

The two upper drawers have a low wood front with a textured tinted glass panel above it. The two lower drawers have full wood fronts. On the Slim depth, each drawer is about 11.0 in (28 cm) deep and 7.9 in (20 cm) high.

They run on solid-wood runners and open by a groove under each front, with no metal pulls. Our factory suggests them for books or toys.

At each end, a door swings open on concealed metal hinges. The end cabinet in our factory's photo holds one shelf.

Cables out the back

There are cable openings in the back panel, plus a notch at the back of the top for a cord to drop through. On the Slim depth, the solid back panel sits 2.0 in (5 cm) in from the rear edge, which leaves room for plugs.

A rim on top, a plinth below

A raised rim runs along the top edges, and the corners are rounded, so there's no sharp corner at knee height. Underneath, a recessed plinth lifts the case 0.8 in (2 cm) off the floor.

What to know first

There are no open shelves, so your gear goes behind an end door or in a drawer. We don't list inside sizes for the end cabinets, so send us your receiver's measurements before you order. If your gear needs open air, the Arden's faux-rattan door lets air through.

We don't give a weight rating or a TV size for it. If you want something lower, the Heritage Media Console is 10.2 in (26 cm) tall.

Solid walnut under hardwax oil

Every wooden part is solid American black walnut: front, top, bottom, sides, inner panels and drawers. It's Appalachian FAS-grade walnut, built with mortise-and-tenon joinery. Each drawer front is cut from one board, and the grain carries on from front to front.

We match the wide boards in each panel by color and grain, and kiln-dry the walnut to 8 to 10% moisture. The finish is hardwax oil, with no paint. It resists water but isn't waterproof, so use a coaster and wipe spills promptly.

Expect color shifts and the odd knot or mineral streak. They're natural in black walnut.

We make each Pebble to order. Production takes 6 to 10 weeks, and delivery is about 10 to 18 weeks after you order.

Standard shipping is free across the contiguous United States, excluding remote areas. You have 90 days after receiving your order to request a return. Custom dimensions, custom finishes and special-order modifications are not eligible for return.
