Frequently Asked Questions
Will the down cushions sag?
The core of every cushion is high-density foam, which holds the shape; the goose down and silk sit as a top layer for softness. Down compresses in use and lofts back when you fluff it — flip and fluff occasionally and the cushions recover. The foam core is what prevents the permanent hammocking you see in all-foam or all-down budget sofas.
Is the frame really solid wood?
Yes — the arms are single wide planks of American black walnut and the base rails and legs are solid walnut too. Because the frame is exposed rather than buried under upholstery, you can inspect exactly what you bought.
How deep is the seat?
23.6" of usable seat depth, 34" overall. That is deep enough to sit cross-legged or curl sideways, while the 19.7" backrest keeps an upright, sociable posture when you want one.
Leather or fabric?
Both, depending on colorway: the green and black are offered in leather, the white in fabric. All three sit on the same walnut frame.
How does a 118" sofa get into my home?
It ships in a carton about 122" long with minimal assembly on arrival. Measure doorways, stairwells, and the tightest corner of the route first — the box needs a fairly straight run.
