The traditional-craft and bentwood family — Tovin, Salo, Daren, Vilen, Lovan — brings hand-woven and sculpted-frame character that reads naturally in farmhouse, French country, or layered transitional rooms. Sora, Riven, and Korin are the sculptural statements: chairs that anchor a room as a focal point.

The curved-back classics — Noren, Maren, Aro — are the most flexible across traditional, transitional, and modern tables.

A side chair takes up less width along the table edge, which is useful if you want to fit six instead of four. Arm chairs anchor the table ends and read more formal.

Among the seat options, upholstered styles — Eron, Korin, Lior, and the Cael and Elio arm chairs — are the warmest in winter and the most forgiving across long meals. Woven paper cord, rush, and cane (Orin, Daren, Tovin) bring traditional craft texture and breathe well in warm weather; these seats are hand-woven and can be re-woven by a specialist if they ever need it. Rattan and bentwood-with-rattan pieces (Vilen, Lovan) carry that same hand-crafted character with a lighter visual presence. Seat heights average around 18 inches across the collection but vary slightly by silhouette — the product page lists the exact height for each chair. As a baseline, an 18-inch seat works with a 29–30 inch tabletop and leaves around 10–12 inches of thigh clearance. For comfortable elbow room, allow at least 24 inches of width per chair, or 20 inches for tighter spacing.

Walnut chairs match naturally with a walnut dining table and benches, and they pair just as well with lighter surfaces — white oak, ash, or pale stone — where the walnut becomes the visual anchor of the room.
