Rectangular Dining Tables

The rectangular tables here are solid American black walnut, and every wooden part is solid wood. They run from 39.4 in (100 cm) long, closed, to 90.6 in (230 cm). We make each one to order in our own factory. Production takes 6 to 10 weeks, and delivery is about 10 to 18 weeks after you order.

Tables with open long sides

Five of these have no apron, so a bench fits along the long sides: the Heritage, Auren, Estate, Marlow and Helios.
The Estate stands on forked legs at its ends, and the Marlow on two panel legs set in from the ends. On the Auren and the Helios, the legs have two positions.

Three tables that get longer

Heritage Extendable: one leaf stored inside the frame adds 15.7 in (40 cm)
Soren Extendable: a draw-leaf table with a leaf under each end; pull either end to open it
Bennett: a lower second table pulls out at one end on its own legs, to 92.5 in (235 cm)

Closed, the Heritage Extendable and the Soren Extendable start at 39.4 in (100 cm). The Bennett's second table runs on casters with brakes.

Length, depth and seats

On every table here, the depth comes with the length, so you don't choose it separately. Depths run 29.5 to 35.4 in (75 to 90 cm), and the Marlow runs 31.5 to 33.5 in (80 to 85 cm).

The longest fixed top is the Helios at 90.6 in (230 cm).

We give seat counts only where we have them for a size:

Heritage: up to 6 at 55.1 or 63.0 in (140 or 160 cm), up to 8 at 70.9 or 78.7 in (180 or 200 cm)
Heritage Extendable: up to 6 on the two smaller sizes, up to 8 on the two larger
Estate: 4 to 6 chairs at 70.9 in (180 cm)

A walnut bench fits down one side of the no-apron tables. For a square room, see our round tables, or every shape in our walnut dining tables.

Metal parts and finish

These three have named non-wood parts:

Auren: steel bars set into the underside of the top
Cumberland: hardware reinforcing the wooden corner blocks
Bennett: metal bars under the top, and casters with brakes

Every top is finished in hardwax oil, and the walnut is Appalachian FAS-grade walnut.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long are these tables?

From 39.4 in (100 cm), the Heritage Extendable and Soren Extendable closed, to 90.6 in (230 cm), the longest Helios. The Bennett reaches 92.5 in (235 cm) with its second table out.

Which rectangular tables extend?

The Heritage Extendable has a stored leaf, the Soren Extendable a leaf under each end, and the Bennett a second table that pulls out.

Which ones work with a bench?

The Heritage, Auren, Estate, Marlow and Helios have no apron, so a bench fits along the long sides.

Is there metal in them?

Some have named metal parts: steel bars under the Auren top, hardware at the Cumberland's corner blocks, and metal bars and braked casters on the Bennett. Every wooden part is solid wood.

How long does delivery take?
